Imohtep Valued Member Canada 321 Posts	Posted 07/19/2012 5:39 pm So I did my usual browse of kijiji for coins today and found someone selling a silver maple leaf 1oz coin for $20 considering silver is at 27.25 an ounce right now, I already made some money... I had no idea which year of maple leaf it was, turns out it was a 1999/2000 with the fireworks privy mark. Can anyone tell me what this is worth? It is still in the mint sealed wrapper. allranger Pillar of the Community United States 1391 Posts	Posted 07/19/2012 6:51 pm Some people collect the privy marks. There are a few on the forum but I can't recall who right now. If you collect them people sometimes pay more for them. Other people feel burned out with the endless variations. My local coin store that I frequent just puts them in with the other maples so you have to look for them. In my own experience I have seen the fireworks privy the most, but that just may be because it is older and had more time to circulate. Either way you got a good deal. Report this Post to the Staff
