Hi everyone, I was wondering of anyone any clue as to what US Mint wrapped in OGP America the Beautiful Quarters are worth? I bought 4 different P&D sets in 2010 and 2011 and now find I may have to sell them so I can fix the wife's car. They are Gettysburg, Glacier, Mt Hood and Olympic sets. I just hope they are worth ore than I paid the mint.
Thanks!

A 20 coin combined P and D set from 2010 and 2011 currently goes for about 15 on ebay. The individual sets are fetching about 7-8 dollars.

Good luck getting more than face value for them. Most coin shops etc. will only pay face value

That couldn't be right, each roll has 40 quarters per roll, $10 face each. I've checked completed listings on E-bay but none have sold or been sold lately. If I can't find out I may out them on here and see if anyone shows some interest.

You said P&D sets in the description not rolls which are completely different. But either way its unlikely you will get over what you paid and in a lot of cases wont get more than face value. Just too many of them were made. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news

with basebal and Billmoody - face on those guys. Sorry. :( Even though there are relatively few of them out there to be found at the moment, there were still literally millions of them minted.

If you watch Pawn Stars or [insert History Channel pawn/conflict/angst show title here] at all, this is something you'll see all the time. Just because you paid something for it, you can't expect to get it back when you go to sell. "It's not my problem that you paid $x for this. Here's what I will offer you".

Honestly there are few collections that are a sound investment strategy. Too easy to attach emotion. Even the bullion I "collect" I've grown fond of...

CelticKnot- I understand, I never collected them to ever roll them and make money but I figured they'd have to have SOME premium over face, but, I never really checked until now. Now I'm glad I stopped my Mint subscriptions for the rolls. Guess I may have to sell something else for the money I need, I'm not going to just give my Mint rolls away. Oh well, everything is a learning experience.
