My daughter and son-in-law in Oz have tried twice to send my father's day package containing coins to me in Canada. The first time it made it as far as Vancouver. Second time it didn't make it out of the country. There has never been a problem before. Anyone know if there are new regulations in place?

I send coins to Canada quite often and have only had one lot go missing at the Canada end.Sorry Mary
Lately the shipping time from Aus to Canada is far faster than shipping from Canada to Aus.

? sometimes it's the value of the coins that customs don't like.
You are only allowed to send under a certain amount, plus if you have rare coins that are something along the lines of Australian heritage -- like war metals they don't let them out of the country.
