For whatever reason I've had the hardest time finding a nicer 1890-O for my morgan set....I picked this one up recently. Seems halfway decently struck for a New Orleans coin.....also finally got the macro feature working right on my camera. What grade would you give this one?

It could be the toning, but it looks like an AU slider to me. If it's just the tone playing tricks, I'd call it MS63. At any rate, I would choose this coin over the majority of MS 90-O's out there based on the strike. Nice coin.

Yeah I've been going back and forth with this one....either being a 58 or 63. The coin is extremely frosty as well.

I'm not really into toning so I do not like the toning on it. But I would say MS-63. Other than the toning that is one beautiful coin :)

It is tough to find a nice 90-O, same case for the 91-O. I like yours, very original, frosty and a great strike. The tone might be hiding marks we can't see but I guess this one in the MS-63+ range. It may have passed through a couple hands before it got tucked away but it still has an MS appearance.

For a 1890-O it's a fairly decent strike. MS64
