Samuel For the record here, let me clarify for you and the forum readers what the different mintmarks stand for. All the coins you posted are from Mexico (Republica Mexicana). I pass no judgement on the coins themselves. Here are the different mints, all of which are cities in Mexico that had mints at one time or another As Alamos Ce Catorce Ca Chihuahua Cn Culiacan Do Durango EoMo Tialpan Ga Guadalajara GC Guadalupe y Calvo Ho Hermosillo Mo Mexico City Oa Oaxaca Pi San Luis Potosi Zs Zacatecas

samuel tan I was going to list the mints but jfransch saved me the trouble.
All of the coins appear to be real. No counterfeits for me. Most are also second Republic when these were bullion trade coins. They are fairly average and look like waht I used to get in bags of 1000 about 20 years ago for just over melt.
Nice group that should bring on average $35-45 each at the minimum. If I get a chance tomorrow I will check for die varieties.

jfransch and swamperbob, I highly appreciates your input. I know that they are real, since two professionals already checked them. Only one of them is tampered. Somebody file the edges, try to steel few silver. I will post the picture here later. To my disappointment, they do not worth much. If these are American it will worth a lot, even though these coins were used in the States too.

I'm waiting to see the Pillar coins you are going to post. That is what I collect, along with Portrait Dollars.

samuel tan Actually most of these coins were never legal tender in the United States. They were demonetized in 1857, so any coin dated after that date was not likely to have been used in the US. They mostly went to China by the millions.
That was why I mentioned that they were all Second Republic. Most US collectors interested in 8Rs have the 1857 cut off date.
Personally I collect the entire series but I am much more interested in the EARLY issues.
