Unit One has a Trolley Car with a 1 on one side and Arabic writing. Otherside a lighthouse and set of wings more Arabic writing. 23 mm thicker aluminium disc. I can not determine country or coin or if it is a token ?

I thought maybe someone in the token catergory may recognize this item. Please comment. Thank You.

The lighthouse has long been a symbol of the Egyptian city of Alexandria, which does have a tramway network. I found an identical token on this website which indeed reports it as being an Alexandria tramway token.

But if you want confirmation, send EgCollector an e-mail requesting translation.

Incidentally, the second "unidentified" token posted on the token site I linked to above was identified by EgCollector here as a Cairo tram/bus token.

thanks for the help, this site is great! I do not have to guess, there is so much other knowledge on coins/tokens available if you share your info or ask a question. :)
