Hello.

First off all, I've searched the internet, to find the value on this banknote. I cant seem to find any, so I'm trying out this forum. I've also asked on a Danish forum (Im a Dane), but yet no answer.

Steff!

You've come to the right site.

From the reverse, yours is a fake, so maybe worth a few dollars, at the most. Also, the signatures and serial # look printed on and not signed, so that is another sign it is a fake.

An authenticate one will have a blank reverse, like this one.

For double confirmation that it's a replica, A $2 note with serial number 2473 is listed on the fake Confederate notes list; their example looks like this.

Sorry.

Another way to tell it is fake is by the jet black ink. 150 years ago ink had all sorts of things in it that would change color over time. One of these was iron. The ink should have actually rusted which would have changed the color from black to a reddish black. Also it would have eventually started to bleed through and become visible from the back side.
