Hi I have been given a 1oz $50 2008 gold coin ,it is the right weight but when you twist it the head and the buffalo dont line up,is it a fake? thank you

US coins utilize coin alignment where the two sides are opposed by 180 degrees vs. medal alignment where both sides are aligned with each other.
