"KM" is short for "koppar mynt", meaning "copper coin", then the date 1771. On the obverse, we have the crowned monogram of the king of Denmark at the time, Christian VII: a double-overlapping letter C and numeral 7. I suspect it's closer to Fine or "1" by Danish grading. I'm comparing your coin to the varieties in my Siegs catalogue, and there are several varieties with various values, with a few monogram varieties. Your coin has especially large lower curls of the "C"--I'm unsure how that affects value. Report this Post to the Staff

Pertinax Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 2134 Posts	Posted 07/28/2012 5:37 pm I would expect more detail on the crown for VF and the rosettes on either side of the 1 of 1 skilling on the reverse. I think this is slightly better than F. Report this Post to the Staff
