It appears to have been harshly cleaned. I would say AU details.

At first I thought it was a light woodgrain cent but they actually look like deep gouges. If the red color isn't important to you, you might be able to find some nice unc. brown lincolns from this year for a good price if you wait long enough (this is from a well known dealer on ebay, right?).

Just curious, how much would you pay for it (assuming you would buy it...)

I wouldn't even pay five dollars, but I'm picky. For comparison, I had another 1919 (i think it was 1919) on my watchlist. It was graded ms64 by pcgs and I don't even think it went past thirty dollars.

Yes, these are vette1986 pictures. If I had to guess I would say that the OP bought the coin from vette and is now trying to sell it at a profit using the original pics.

I probably wouldn't want to pay any more than $.50 to $1.00 for it. The cleaning is so harsh it just sucks any numismatic value right out of it. It looks like someone wiped it with a wire brush.

1919 is a very common date and problem-free uncirculated examples are easy to find. I would save your money and pass on this one.

Horribly cleaned and it has no numismatic value.

Worth 1 cent ... as stated on the reverse.

Definately harshly cleaned, worth 5 cents and no more. You could try using it as a pocket piece for a year or so, it might come back.

That seller seems to have cornered the market on problem coins!

Poor Lincoln! It looks like someone took after him with a roll of barbwire.

I would save your money. This poor coin could have been worth a decent piece if someone hadn't spilled ignorance all over it.
