Hi all,
In my roll searching I have come across many Canadian cents in US Lincolin cent roll and at times from change from a purchase I made.
Now my question; If I decide to start collecting these Canadian cents , how far back(year)should I go? Can someone direct me to a site about Canadian cents.
Thanks.

What I can tell you is, from my roll searching the oldest cent I've ever found is 1947. Right now, 1964 and 1965 are relatively common old dates. The 1967 dove is worth searching for too!

It is worth it Mila, especially if you like cents. I have a website I use as a guide more than anything else, I have bought nickels from them once.

http://www.colonialacres.com/home.shtml

The small cents start in 1920-present. It actually took me less time to put this set together than it did my Lincoln cents but it is still incomplete. There are a few key dates to look out for but I can't remember them right now.

*Irishraider, Thanks for the info.
*sn31, the link you provided doesn't do anything but gives me popups I'm not interested in. The 'link' buttons on the bottom (clicking them tells me page not found).

Yes, I am interested. Give me some time to look and sort what I already have.
Also, I would like to store them in an album (if available) where can I find one?

SportsWriter...
I found a 1967 and the oldest one 1951. The '67 was what got me interested in the Canadian cents.

*Irishraider...I read somewhere that the key dates are, 1922, 23, 24, 25 and 26. Is this correct? Are there others?
Rest in Peace

I was very much into collecting Canadian cents during the 1960's. I haven't looked at my folders for a long time, but when I put them away I had a nearly complete set.

Personally, I enjoyed collecting them.

We sometimes get Canadian cents here in western Colorado, but pretty seldom.
