From the land of the Bluenose.....Bob Marley didn't get it right in the song as far as Nova Scotia was concerned today.

"Sun is shining.
Weather is sweet.
Makes you want to move your dancing feet."

Here it was bleak, dark and raining halibut so when I phoned Navy Davy this morning we agreed to cancel our dig.

I lasted about 20 minutes and said"What the fishcake" as I grabbed my digging gear and headed out the door in the pouring rain.

Hit a park then a lake where it is being drained. Here I found a pair of firsts.

Had talked to a fellow earlier who was walking his dog and hope that he recalls out conversation on detecting and my website. Found the keys about 10 minutes after he had left. I would be some ugly if I lost my work keys!

Anyway finished the day wet and aquatic scoffing a nice silver earring, the pressed penny which will be added to my collection and a quota of 66 coins.

Rest in Peace
