Hi guys

Being the year of the Olympics, you would think the Olympic Logo on any Canadian coins would be correct....NOT.

Anyone got one in hand? This could be a photoshop screw-up.

It looks like they got the colourized silver coin right.

Wouldn't they use the same matrix?

This has happened on previous loonies, as well. Seems they don't learn too much. Does that mean that they do everything (designing) by hand and memory instead of looking at a copyrighted logo? My professor says that they use AutoCAD at the RCM, so it's probably programmed in there and they haven't changed it.
Rest in Peace

Maybe it's gonna' take the IOC to sue for the RCM to get it right.

Given that the IOC wants a cut of everything with the Olympic logo on it, maybe they muffed it on purpose.

I doubt the IOC even notices the mistake, they are too much into themselves....BUT some one should take notice, like maybe the RCM....
