Post mint damage either chemical or sand blasting. Could have been found in the ground.

I agree with PMD. Once a coin enters circulation it encounteres many different possible circumstances which can discolor it. All of these are PMD. Also just to keep things straight, the coloring has nothing to do with a lamination.
