I'm not much into buying Gold,to rich for my blood but I was just looking at some on ebay for fun and came across this

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1Gram-Credi...em2a20d5214c

Now me personally this scares the crap out of me or is this acceptable and everybody just knows it's fake gold.I know the seller tells you it's gold filled but what if he didn't.I'm sure I'm missing something here because like I said I know very little about Gold

I wonder if the back says 'copy' or 'plated'. I thought ebay recently forbid the sale of replica or copy coins/bullion?

I don't like it either...

Same with replica banknotes etc... I don't see the point... maybe they hope someone will make a mistake and think its the real thing (and not accept returns because it's your mistake for not reading it)

Personally, I can't see much difference in making fake gold bars for distribution than printing off forged $100 bills and selling them as "replicas". You can bet if someone is producing identical copies like this one, they are getting sold and intermixed with the real gold supply. A shame, really. But nothing new.

This kind of (any S-word) really irks me. I feel that this is down right conterfitting and if I was Credit Suisse I would be contacting my lawyers and they would be contacting ebay and somehow this would end, but alas lawyers costs money and there is no money to be made but this does damage the brand of Credit Suisse... so maybe. but anyway whatever shell corporation this K.Jordan Corp is I don't like it. What is a supposed alternative energy corporation doing selling fake gold bars on ebay? Whoever doesn't do their homework on this one and smell the scam from miles away almost deserves what ever they get, almost.

I've ask the seller if it's stamped "copy or replica" anywhere on the bar with no reply from him yet.I can't think of any reason to produce a bar like this other than Deception.Yes he tells you what it is but the next owner of the bar might not

I received a reply from seller

"There are No Stamps stating copy or replica on these bars.
Thanks you for your interest
Scott"

"Thank you for the reply. That's ashame, the next owner might not be so forth coming"

"Original gold bars are all certified with a number - Copy bars has there own set up numbers which make the difference
Scott "

My favorite line from this seller:

We cannot change our policy just because of what ebay wants.

NJ tax is 7%, not 6%. A business that don't even know how to charge tax!

I will buy "replica" PMs when I can do so with replica money. Our old Monopoly game has some available for this purpose.
