Hello everyone I am just got started buying american silver eagles. I am 27 and looking to save for the future.
I am paying $1.25 over spot. Is that a good price?
Please give me some feedback. Thanks

Thats what my dad told me. He turned me on to Gold and silver buying club, that gives its members wholesale pricing on bullion. Its pretty interesting. Thanks for your input.

Best I can do around me is $34 each, so that's over $6 over spot, so yes, that's a good deal. I believe that's even under the spread the mint sells to Authorized Purchasers. Even if they are really ugly, good deal.

there not ugly, uncirculated untouched, I have the ability to watch the price of silver throughout the day, as soon as starts going down. I can call and get locked in at spot +$1.25. The club makes no profit off of the coins or bullion, just off the annual membership. So they turn around and sell to there members for whatever they paid. Has anyone been in a club like this?

My Dad told me that a majority of the members are dealers, who buy super low then turn around and sell to the public with mark-up. They do not discriminate though anyone can join.
You also get a year of lifelock with the membership, which is cool.
I am saving to get a monster box. Its gonna be sweet

Sounds like a great club, Brent. It's really good that your Dad turned you on to buying precious metals. That will very likely work out super good for you in the coming years. Oh, and  to the CCF forum!  |

spot +1.25 is a great price. With the 249.00 membership fee you would have to buy only about 50 a year to make it worth your while to be a member.

Like Steele said, if you're figuring in S&H charges and still only paying $1.25 over spot, you're doing better than most.
