Def not an MS66 maybe a MS65 but her face seems to have some contact marks on it and lacks a bit of luster that an MS66 would need. In my non expert opinion I would grade it an MS64 Report this Post to the Staff

It's been hard for me not to be biased in grading my own coins. I think this one could hit that 65 point.....however the 81-S really does have to be superb to get the gem grading.....However I did see an MS 65 NGC 81-S the other day and to be honest I thought it left something to be desired, just didn't strike me as a 65....anyway now I've gone in to rambling. westcoin Pillar of the Community United States 9792 Posts	Posted 08/04/2012 9:49 pm I'd gp MS-63+ on this one 1881-S is an easy coin to find in high grade and while this coin would probably go MS-64 in another date not so common for strong strike and high grade examples I think a TPG would not go more than MS63.
