Hello,

I had no control over the photography of this Confederate bill so consequently one can see the end result: poor quality.

Anyhow please try to identify this bill the best that you can and then state a grade and retail ( ebay) value of it.

Thanks much,

mdpmedia

No one can grade a note from a photo.

Being that it's just about impossible to grade a note from a Photo, no one can put a real value on it because value depinds on the grade.

Not much sense in guessing at something that's not positive.

I admit that it may be difficult to grade this bill in its current state but is it possible to at least identify(categorize) this note and indicate if it is a rare note etc.

I would just like to be able to find comparative sales of completed listings to determine its average retail sales price in today's market.

Thanks

Well if you just want to ID it that's different than wanting it graded and a value put on it. It's an 1861 issue CSA note, if you want to go by the "book" value it's listed at $ 1100.00 + in CU condition, of course that means nothing because even though no one can grade from a Photo I'm sure it's not in CU condition.

Best to get the catalog number for this note, then search the Internet to see what they sell for. Judging from the photos, this note seems to be in a very low grade.

Forgot to mention that, it's in the Friedberg book as as a CS-26.
