I was only able to get the first page photographed last night, but will add the other pages as I can. I figure it might take me some time to finish this thing because it is getting really tough to find the coins I want for the remaining four slots. Suggestions to fill them are always welcome  Some of the coins, especially the classic large cent, are going to take a while to save up for too  My goal is and has been to complete an AU or higher set of US coins that have above average strike, toning, and eye appeal. There are a few coins that I'm targeting to upgrade as well - ones that dont fit the criteria or dont fit the overall feel (blast white coins for example).     Edited by nwc coin

Really Sweet!  I am missing the Classic Head 1808-14 as well and having a hard time finding one within my means. I am also digging the 1820 Large Cent with the crack around the stars!  Good idea Dave H!  Edited by oih82w8

Very Nice! I can't wait to get mine in a book, I have them all layed out. I trying to get my hands on the new 7070 book, but have no idea when it will be out.

That is an amazing set! I especially love the Coronet and Indian cent. I can't wait to see the rest of the collection! I completed my type set a while ago and had originally set out to get AU or better too, but I had to compromise at XF for several of the coins, like the Classic Head and Draped Bust Large Cents and one of the Seated dollars. Those were just too pricey for me, but if you can afford it, that would be a stunning accomplishment!! |

Thanks everyone. I'll try to get more up tonight.
I'm afraid I'll probably end up going down to XF on the classic head large cent as well. That one is just too tough in AU, and way too pricey. I'd rather use that extra money for other coins :)
