$20 Canoe Coin Received But... - Coin Community Forum

4228 New Member Canada 23 Posts	Posted 07/31/2012 10:52 pm Hello, I just received 2 $20 Canoe coins today from ebay. I put them under the scope and I noticed on the one there are squiggly lines throughout the reverse. The other coin, the edge/rim is shaved looking. Are these normal traits for coins like this? And as DBM mentioned, you traded a $20 bill for a $20 silver coin, and they even shipped it to you for free. What are you expecting? A "perfect 70"? If it really bugs you to see such imperfections, sure go ahead and return it, spend it, or be one of "those guys" on ebay who shows the microscope images and claims it's some crazy error and lists it for 5x the issue price.
