I am looking for a Capped Bust dime for my 7070 and saw this little lady looking for a new home and wanted to hear what the CCF thought of her.

Your comments are always appreciated!

VF20, maybe a tad higher in the VF realm...full liberty, nice details around the ear/hair...reverse is weaker than the obverse but still grades a total VF overall...IMHO...nice dime...love it

VF-20 Obverse, reverse F-12 at best.
Nive coin will look good in your type set.

I'm with the panel on this one, VF20 overall. Hard to believe the reverse has more wear than the obverse, it's usually the other way around.

Maybe this dime spent some time below the equatorial line in it's prime?

Reverse should bring it down. I'd guess PCGS gave it F-15. Problem-free, but I'd hold out for one without what seems like an abnormal wear pattern. They're not that hard to find.

I am still kicking this one around, especially since I lost out on a few that went out of my price range. The price for this one is "spot on" according to PCGS values.

Looks like they graded this one only using the obverse. The reverse has so much wear it would come in at either F-12 or F-15.

Honestly I was gonna Call this a net VG10/F12

Though the Obverse is an Easy VF.

I agree about the odd wear. Probably best to pass IMO. Unless of course it goes for F12 money.
