Dear Friends I think I found the 1980 DDO,but the Liberty portion of the match seems a bit..well maybe the Dyes were worn out.
Some Mint Damage on the Nose or...?

You really need to check the links for double dies. They are a great help. You may want to buy an actuall double die coin so you can see the difference.Looks possible Machine Doubling and a damamged coin.

To me it appears as a VLDS coin. The die was worn out when it struck this coin. There is some circulation/coin contact on this coin as well. The Big DDO looks like this one:

The devices on the OP coin are normal in size and not enlarged as what you would expect to see on a doubled die.
