I finally got around to trying to take some photos of the first few coins I've bought. Would love some feedback, either the coins or photography! I definitely need to add a second light to the setup. But I actually took these with a webcam and I've gotten the best results with it so far! And its definitely easier than dragging out all of my other equipment. I've marked each coin with the grade thats on the slab. Only thing to note is that the reverse of the 81, the big scratch is on the slab and not on the coin.

I'm going to use my drop box so that I don't need to re-size the images cause they're nice and big! Let me know if there's a problem getting to the images

Nice start to a Morgan hoard! I think your grading is pretty close to right on with all but the 1900-O. I don't see an MS-67 there and probably closer to an MS-64, too many marks on face. Photos aren't too bad but like you said more lighting will help.

I dont agree with any of the grades. And IMHO none are close to MS-67.
I see to much wear for MS grades on these.
Every one grades with what there eyes show them and how they learned to grade.
I have looked at them 4 times and just dont see MS.
But I do see 4 great looking Morgans that would be right at home in anyones collection.

I think the 67 is total BS too, but its the only coin here thats not been graded by PCGS. I'd still say its 63/64 when its beside one of the other coins. I think it will be one that I send in for a real grade whenever I'm ready.

The other 3 coins are PCGS 64's in the old green holders.

Regardless, I love the little things!
