I think this is a France Half Sol 1769 Troyes mint (V mintmark) - is that correct ?

1769V isn't listed in my 5th ed KM catalog.

The scans came out very dark, so I've had a go at enhancing the colours - that's why the 2 sides look different.

I've realised I've misread this coin.

It's actually 1769W (Lille) and is KM 544.11.

The V under the head is the engraver's privy mark and is a chevron.
