If anyone was interested I took them to the local coin store and they graded them XF45 each, not bad for buying them for $40 each

Well I was gonna say your 2 cent coin was AU-50 and the 1/2 cent was EF-45.
Two very nice coins you have added to your collection.
Coins to be proud of IMHO. Thanks for posting these

WOW nice coins! I would say with Captain Morgan, AU-50 and XF-45. I would say the Half Cent is ALMOST AU.
