It looks like it had great detail but the photos are too blurry to give an estimate. It looks too bright for original surface. All in all a sharp coin to have.

Looks like it could be a real stunner of a coin, but for now ill grade blurry details. Lol

I think even with the blurry pics you got a Au-58 or a MS-60.
From what I can see you got one of the nicest 1827 Half dollars I have ever seen.
Thank you for posting and sharing the pictures of this Half.
I flat can not take a decent coin photo, so I cant knock you efforts.

could be Au, could be MS, or could be cleaned. We need better pics and then pls get it slabbed by NGC or PCGS

The pictures are from the dealer I purchased it from. Sorry, but I don't have a camera good enough to take any better pictures...

She appears to be high AU, low MS, but I agree on the blurriness being a distractor. It appears to have a nice golden tone too! I would send her off to be TPGed for my 7070!

I am thinking it is most likely an AU because the areas around the stars appear more lustrous than the unprotected portions of the fields which appear a bit darker. That difference could suggest it has some friction. A beautiful coin!

It appears to be but from the photos you can't tell what the surfaces look like, or if it has been cleaned.
