I have one of these little loupes I have been using and I sometimes get headaches. Anyone else have this problem?

If you have has a switch to another type of magnification helped?

I use a DinoLite USB Microscope. (But there are several others that are less expensive.) This way I can look at the computer screen instead of dealing with the eye strain.

I use a lighted hand held magnifying glass(UltraOptix SV-2LPLED) and a celestron 44302 handheld usb microscope.

I use the microscope when I need to really zoom in.

oih82w8 - Which model of DinoLite do you have?

I like that you can turn the light off on this one.

By sort do you mean looking at the date and MM to put them in piles? Then later you examine them for errors and varieties? To sort I use a 2 inch round 5x and to examine then I use a 14x loupe and to post pics I use my Celestron 44302.

I d0n't. I can see a silver edge for miles and miles and miles. Anything of interest might get the bi-focals out.

Wow those USB ones sound pretty nice. I might have to try that. Are they expensive?

Depends on if you want cheap or good. $30-$300+. I have a Celestron 44302 I paid $60 a few years ago and it's just ok. My nephew has a Dino-Light he paid around $300 and it's very nice.
