Wow, older bills are so beautiful. There is just so much detail on old notes that our modern ones just lack. That is a stunning note, and in great condition too! No idea what it's worth, but I give it two thumbs up!

Also, to Coin Community.

I love the old school notes, I am re-committing to picking those up.

I am not sure if it is uncirculated. It is crisp with probably at most only a few folds if there are any.

I remember asking a while back if anyone knew why all these notes had the turned "A" suffix. I always thought that was odd. I would think that when the people who printed these notes saw it they would have corrected it since the printing process was a lot more hands on back then as compared to now. Here is mine:
1917-Series-$1-Note-Value

Edit to correct spelling.

I seem to remember reading somewhere (many moons ago) that it was a glitch that had something to do with a new member posting in areas of the forum that don't increase your post count, but I can't swear to that. I'm old and my memory... erm, what was I talking about?

Blackbook puts it somewhere around $150+ Higher prices would depend on how deep any creases are. Looks nice and crisp Beautiful Note!!

Thank you all for your input. This has been great. Last question... Do you think now is a good time to sell or am I better off holding onto it?

Saw this exact note today in a coin shop in a lucite case. Not quite as good of shape as yours. From what the owner told me yours should be in the upper end of a $125-$200 range if I am correct that it is the same note. Very, very cool.
