Recentally aquired this at a coin show for $55. I showed a couple people who mentioned a possibility of a fake.....The paper is much different that an 1899 eagle or 1923 note. Any comments? It was bought from Falcone Coins and Currency (willow Glen)

Seems to be legit from what I can see. Wouldn't hurt to have it certified

By PCGS, or by a different local dealer? Is it worth sending in, after all it only cost 55.

You can always take it to a local dealer

Ask them how much they'd give you for it just to test them.

I subject all my notes to the microscope. I want to see that the red and blue fibers are woven in the cloth and not just on the surface as if they were printed on.

Very smart thing to do Nickelman.
Real or Counterfeit, really cant tell from a photo, but as long as you know who you bought it from ( Falcone Coins and Currency ) I'm sure you can get your money back. Being in the business they must know it's a Federal crime to pass counterfeit money.
