Hello all, its been awhile since I've posted. I found this a couple weeks back when going through a short set of quarters I bought for melt. It has a awful lot of similarities to 1950 D FS-601 what are you thoughts.

Don't think it's a D/S, looks like deterioration doubling or ejection doubling with PMD.But I am no pro.

Here's a side by side, if it's not a D/S that is some coincidental doubling.

The two coins pictured were not struck by the same die. The main characteristic of the 'S' mintmark on the coin on the left is not present on the coin on the right. That characteristic being the large curve on the upper left corner of the mintmark.
