No, I don't think so. As an Australian, slabbing does not appeal to me.
Emu has a vertical scratch. Very little wear, but could have done with a little more striking pressure.
Very nice coin as it is. Almost unculated.

Hi stevo If the coin has lustre and you believe it hasn't been cleaned it would be a good candidate to consider for stabbing However the mark through the emu might cause it to get a detail grade.

This looks aUnc or AU50 It has too many tiny dings to be only bag marks and looks like it has seen light circulation. The scratch in the emu and the lack of eye appeal stop it getting a 55 grade in my opinion. I concur with Sel on the soft strike. All In All a very nice example of this coin and if you are into the slabbing scene then the value of this coin would justify the cost and time spent doing it. If I owned it I would simply put it in a 2x2 and add it to my collection. Sweet Coin

Can you tell me what I am missing to get the 58 grade Walter? I can't see too much remaining lustre in these pic's. I would tend to bow to your experience but I would like to know how you arrived at that grade.

The coin actually has a lot of lustre on both sides but is more of a frosty finish

Just had another look at it and it definately has cartwheel lustre and would say that the coin is fully lustrous

It's not particularly evident in the photos but that's cartwheel lustre.

Nice coin apple if those parallel marks on the obverse are on the Mylar on the 2x2 and not on the coin yours would go AU55. ( I saw the pic's before you dumped them ) Nice details some minor wear and looks like a fair bit of the original luster remains. Has really nice eye appeal to my view.

The scratch probably isn't as bad as it looks in the first photo, you cant even see it with your naked eye,I think it was highlighted by the angle and the bright light,if you check the other photos you can just see it
