Australian Opals Series Silver Coins

Well, they're quite high on the premium front; but that's the price one pays for Aussie proofs at the moment. I had a chance to buy the first one but passed. That was probably a mistake, considering how quickly it sold out and how well it has sold at auction. The second one sold out just as rapidly, if not more so. Personally, I think the design is too dark in the middle but I still might buy the Kook or the Kangaroo version, assuming they release those in that format. Will they hold up in the long run? Anyone's guess, but I'd say the odds are fairly high, considering how well received the first two were.
