I ran across these and some of them look pretty cool but do they have any value beyond the silver?

basicly only silver value.

Yup, and will stay that way. Sports themed coins generally do not fair well in intrinsic value.

Maybe a hair over spot, but not much more than that. The commemorative set seems to do a little better, though.
