Can you just go to the bank and ask for a bundle of notes like a box of coins?

What is the standard to ask for to receive one bundle (sort of like asking for a box of pennies or nickels in coin money so you get a whole box).

What serials are considered rare and that you should keep if you find them? Moreover how do you collect bank notes? Are there like Dansco or Whitman albums? Is possible to complete a set? How does collecting bank notes work?

I have never collected bank notes and collect coins but am considering starting a bank note collection.

W O W >>> Lots of questions .

1) Yes you can buy bundles or bricks at the bank.... just go to a teller and let them know how meny of what denomination you want.

2) I collect 1800's Obsolete bank notes from a particular area.... no you can not get these from the bank, you have to go to coin shops, coin shows and the Internet to collect something like this.

3) You can also start slow and easy by putting together a short set I call the "Rainbow" set... that is a type set of all the different colors of treasury seals.

4) Rarer serial numbers are like radars, very very low serial numbers like 00000583, or a ladder like 12345678.

I hope this helps.... ALSO, read, read and read BEFORE you buy a note. A good place to start is right here in this forum.
