For a Carausius its in decent condition and as Eng says has a nice green patina - £10 coins of Carausius can be found on ebay but are generally in very poor condition. I picked one up for £2 a couple of months ago because the French seller did not know what it was. The bust is good and shows the stereotypical fat neck but the face is also very well cut. Its a nice coin but personally I dont think I would go over £40-£50 for it. Report this Post to the Staff

I really like the coin ... => I think that Carausius' expression is very dramatic ... but I admit that the reverse doesn't seem to be 100% centered, but if the reverse was shifted more to the right, then perhaps some of the other letters may be lost? (know what I'm sayin'?) ... but wow, the green patina-hints are very appealing!! => overall, it is a very eye-appealing coin (total winner!!) Hey, but what's a couple of extra bucks if you think that the coin is pretty, right? (oh sorry Bing ... I forgot that I was talkin' to you) ... Report this Post to the Staff
