Here is my new Marcus Aurelius. Picked this one up at a show. It is obviosly a bit worn, but I liked the price, the coin, and I have been wanting a Marcus Aurelius denarius. After taking picks I am having some concerns. What do you think about authenticity?

I think that this example on wildwinds is a match:
Marcus Aurelius as Caesar, Denarius. 140-144 AD. AVRELIVS CAESAR AVG PII F COS, bare head right / PIETAS AVG, sacrificial implements. RSC 451, Sear5 4786.

The coin looks fine to me, just worn and a bit over cleaned.

Wow TJ, that's a very interesting coin ... at first glance I thought it was a Kanthros (a big mug for drinking wine), but sacrificial instruments is just as interesting, or even more interesting!! (very cool coin)

=> oh, and it definitely looks legit to me ... eh-heh-heh, is that worth any comfort?
