Sorry for the poor quality pics, but I have an opportunity to buy an 1883 CC Morgan NGC MS63-PL in an admin folder, how much do you think you would be willing to pay for it. I am new to coin collecting and your insight and input will be truly appreciated.

It's still in the GSA holder. NGC grades them while still in the holder, and then puts a band around the outside which can't be removed without destroying it. The band contains the NGC grade and identification.

A quick look at Heritage and ebay results indicates the NGC-graded GSA coins of that date are somewhat under $200 without the PL designation, and slightly over $200 with it.

Me? If I could get it for $200 or less, I would. If I wanted one.

I would say that $250 is a good price if you like the coin.

I agree, $250.00 would be a good price for this coin.

Take care

Which ANA logo does that have on the back seal? Flying eagle, Lamp of Knowledge, or the crescent? I can't make it out in the picture.

Coinman, good buy. If you look at my 1882-CC GSA MS-64 PL on the grading forum, you will see that your's is very similar. I bought mine for $300, probably a little high, but I have never seen one like this any cheaper. So, I would say that you made a good buy. Jim
