Well these are the first they have printed since 2008 so I guess they have had to rush them into circulation.
Kind of ironic considering we are yet to see 2011 10c

The latest banknotes I have seen in Adelaide are 2009 $50. It would be nice to finally have some nice new $5 notes for me to noodle rather than the tatty older notes that are never in good codition.

 Got this First Prefix BA 12, $5 in change at the Epping Plaza Hotel last night. It will be interesting to see what the RBA will be doing next year with their sales of first and last prefix notes.

 Thats definitely a keeper.....but you are right. I sure hope the RBA keep some first and last prefixes in reserve for next years sales.
