I just won a 1971s proof set so today I was searching to see if it was worth anything and found a site - cointrackers.com that says the 1971s nickel is the 18th most valuable nickel and is worth $850-1250 bucks. Other sites look to be selling 1971 sets for 6 dollars...I saw a thread on here that mentions proof and mint sets as 2 different things. The plastic case these are in has an eagle on the front and says United States Proof Set on the back.
Other than the no s nickel, is there a valuable 1971s nickel or is cointrackers value needing it's decimal point moved over 3 places? $0.85-1.25?

I think they are talking about the 1971 Proof Nickel with the missing S mint mark.

http://cointrackers.com/coins/13393...kel/#details and it says "Stats above are for the no S proof version of this coin."

http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/CoinDe...?s=94203&g=1 - PCGS site for one with mint mark.
http://www.pcgscoinfacts.com/CoinDe...?s=94204&g=1 - PCGS site for one without mint mark.
