I received this coin in the mail this week,i figured it to be a fairly spectacular partial collar but it does have IMO some characteristics of a ramstrike,what do you think ?

I thought the rim/lip was'nt virtical enough to be consider as a ramstrike. ?

It almost looks like double thickness,very unusual error

It's interesting isn't it where you draw the line from being a partial collar to a ramstrike becoming a broadstrike and then an off centre strike.

Markn and I discussed your coin, we think it's a ramstrike because it's had partial engagement with the collar. Otherwise it would be a broadstrike.
