Hi Guys,
I was trying to check to make sure that I have authentic NGC certified coins, I found a place which said that I need to register on coin collectors society and then look up check certification under coins menu.
but I guess you need to be a paid member for it, as I signed up for free and do not see that option under the coins menu. Have any of you tried using this service?

thanks

Hi Coinmaniac,
I hadn't tried it before, but I just logged on with my Collector's Society user name and password and found the verification page. It does work! If you want to post your slab certification number I'd be happy to plug it in and report what NGC has to say about it.

I've found that those are some of the hardest slabs to cut open. I open all my slabbed coins and those NGC ones are the thickest.

Hi Coinmaniac,
Those are all valid NGC numbers. They are listed as follows:
1986402-051: 2005 Eagle G$5 MS69
1547364-028: 1894-O S$1 AU-53
2058213-003: 1883-CC GSA Hoard S$1 MS63PL
1559209-054: 1895-O S$1 XF-40.

Looks like you have the beginnings of a nice Morgan collection. Congratulations!
