I know this is a VAM I am just not sure which VAM it is? The date and stars on the bottom are smeared towards the center. I think it is from a die mis-alignment? Any info would be helpful.

I saw SuperDave and Wrongalot discussing one in an old forum, but they didn't say what it was or what caused it.

How do you find which VAM it is, and what the value is?

I honestly don't think that's been attributed/assigned yet. Generally, Leroy Van Allen doesn't assign VAM numbers to irregular die positioning like your coin; the VAM-1L and 1Y were a special case for him.
