yea I figure if melt is $721 I should be able to get $800 fairly easy, or somewhere close to it.. I figure silver is on the rise and at that price its about $29-$30/oz still..

i put that PIN up on the auction section... I wish they would do a best offer option

Most of the time when you sell together people pay less of a premium. 800 will be hard to get

You'd get more by breaking it up, I think. But say you price it on ebay for $800-825 BIN. Does anyone know exactly what ebay would take? You ought to find out. Without looking up PO fees, I imagine you can cover S&H by charging $10 or so, right? I'm not sure anyone on here wants to pay much above spot and I know for a fact that you can do better than that on ebay, judging by watching current auction prices. As far as what each piece is worth, do the research on ebay. It's the only way to know for sure.

interesting,

i see that the 10oz assay bar brings a premium as well, around $15-$20?

the way I figure it, I think that be offering all 1oz bars and rounds, including the ASE's at $29/oz and a $15-20 premium on the 10oz, that would put me in around $725-$750... would I be greedy asking for $800?

Asking $800 is not greedy at all. You have to start somewhere. On ebay that lot would likely bring $800 too.

If it were mine and I was selling it on a coin forum? I'd ask $750 delivered and take no less than $725.

With ebay and Paypal fees you lose about 10-15% total

I believe final sale price which also includes your shipping fees will be 9%.

Like I told you in that PM you would be lucky to get spot. One plus you have going for you is fact silver has had a nice little run in the last couple days. I hope you find your buyer, if you can't my number will stand for at least 24 hours. You just have to many random things for myself to want to pay more.

Lets say you got $800 on ebay, minus their 9% or $72, minus paypal's 3% or $24, and minus shipping $7, you are looking at about $700 cleared.

Now if you have take the time and list it individually you may get more for those sports commemoratives because fans of the teams may get in there and bid along with us silver hoarders.

Good Luck
Chad

Its 9 or 10 percent of the total counting shipping for ebay, cant remember the exact amount, but pay pal also takes another 3 percent on top of that if you use them for payment

They count shipping into the final price, now? That changed since my last sale, which was many years ago. I recall sellers charging $15-20 S&H for an ASE as a way to cover fees and stick it to ebay, since the item would sell for a few dollars instead of the true market value. Guess the company finally got tired of that and did away with the loophole.

Yea they take shipping out too because people were selling items cheap to avoid the price and then charging a ton for shipping to avoid it. I can see if you enter your own price taking it out but if you select a prepriced option they shouldnt charge you. You lose money everytime you ship now
