Bought it along with the Constantine from London. Really like that kind of bust, with the helmet and spear. I think it's a nice change of pace to what we usually see on late Roman obverses. Plus I like the fact that it has sand patina, but not too much of it. Too bad patches of the patina is gone, esp. on the lower bust and on the obverse, probably from someone being a little too rough with the cleaning methinks. Overall still an attractive coin in my mind and better than what I often find at this coin's price.

Theodosius I AE2

Obv: DN THEODOSIVS PF AVG, helmeted, rosette-diademed and bust right holding spear and shield
Rev: GLORIA ROMANORVM, emperor on prow with hand raised, Victory at the helm, wreath in left field and cross in right field, ANTB in ex, Antioch, RIC 40E

Definitely a nice coin with a nice sand patina.

I just found a Theodosius I coin in that 50 coin lot I purchased. It's AE4, Theodosius I on horseback, Antioch mint.
