Here is a "with Motto" version that I am "kicking around" for my 7070. What do you think about this one?

I like this year, 100 years prior to my Birth Year.

Thanking you in advance!

It appears to have been cleaned at sometime but they can sometimes slab as problem free. I will guess that it did slab problem free with an EF-40 grade. Nice coin!

Pass. Even if you have to get a vf one, I don't like surfaces of that coin, an eyesore.

I'd say EF45 too. I like it, nice clear liberty on the shield, even tone to the whole coin, overall a nice honest type coin.

I agree with EF-45 and it looks solid for that grade. There are a lot of small marks and chatter but this is not a common date and it won't be very easy to find a better circulated example.

I don't see much evidence of cleaning so I'd bet PCGS slabbed it as problem-free.

Too bright and shiny for a coin 100+ yrs old. Get a crustier one with more original surfaces. Get one like the ngc one you posted

After picking up a couple coins yesterday, I may have to pass on this one;

mkman123, I appreciate your thought behind a coin that has been outside the wire versus one that the stayed inside the FOB.

The 1860-O is on it's way, along with a few Half Cents.

Can't believe PCGS didn't give an obviously cleaned coin a details grade.
