I'm posting this for a friend. This half dollar size New York Worlds Fair token seems to be made of brass or copper. Does anyone know anything about it? Sorry for the poor picture quality. Thanks in advance, MM2
No idea, sorry - but that token (?) was probably issued for the 1939 New York World's Fair (and not the one in the mid-60s). Also, "Zenith-Godley" was apparently a (wholesale?) butter, eggs and cheese dealer. They were located in Manhattan, in an area that was known as the Butter and Egg district http://www.findownersearch.com/cate....html?sort=o (look at the bottom of that list).
