Thanks for the notice!  I once won a clad Kennedy half dollar for $0.01 with free shipping, but geting silver, of any kind, would be better!

I don't think the coin actually sold, I think the seller closed the auction.

I'd be shocked if the seller doesn't just cancel that sale and say they lost it or something. That's literally paying someone to take it off your hands.
However if that really did sell its why the 99 cent start price is a big gamble

Ah, this happens frequently on ebay. I can assure you the seller will not be shipping the coin (I must have won 15 auctions for silver at .99, listed by mistake).

It was not sold, the seller ended the listing. If it had been sold, you would see the bidder list next to the winning bid. This [eBayItem]320940398845[/eBayItem] was eventually sold on July 12th for $76.

Research can be a dangerous tool in the wrong hands. You see this so called 99 cent stuff all the time. Remember, there is no SANTA in the coin world.
