Hah, bpoc1,
On the last day of the May, 2012 NH Coin Expo, I went down to breakfast
and sat next to four dealers.
"So when are you going to sell some of your Barbers?" I was asked.
At six thirty in the morning I am not quite so sharp, but I responded
"Not today. But I AM taking down names of nice dealers to whom I might sell in the future."
It has been a long and fun journey... but it ain't over yet!
I find it necessary to think about the inevitable need to sell one day, and
it would be so much easier if I just wanted to get rid of everything. But
I still find coins interesting. So I sell a bit and keep more than I should.
On that same Sunday morning as I was making one last round of the bourse floor I sat and chatted with a dealer. He told be that he was thinking of getting
out of the business. "I promised when I turned 85 I would start to sell everything."
So I'll put your name down on my list. But don't hold your breath!
