to my eye this appears to be a 2004P 1DR-010. I guess the first question is, does anyone else think I have identified this correctly. if not then the subsequent questions are irrelevant.

if the coin is the 1DR-010, then copper coins also lists it as a trail die 1DER-027T. the proplem is that I do not see the trails at the top left corner of the building. I think I see the trails on the E, P, L, and dot in the motto.

so are the trail dies - die state related, or am I jcomplete off base, and trying to make this coin something that is really ins't.

The DDR looks like the 1DR-010 but I do not see trails.

i agree that the trails are not there. at the magnified image I see what MIGHT be trails on the letters, but the corner of the building seems completely lacking the trails. I have learned that the absence of die markers, can be die state related, and am now wondering if the trail dies are also. the doubled column seems so identical to the 1DR-010 that I am fairly certain that it what this coin is. I am in the dark about the missing trails.

Is it known what causes trail dies? And if not...is it possible to have a coins from the same die and EDS have no trail dies and LDS have them? I'm really not knowledgeable with Trail Dies
