Will definately be a full-size 5". That's what my RIA is. The two I am considering are SA Milspec or Range Officer. I'd have to sell more silver to buy a Colt.

Let silver go up a bit more and you'll be able to buy that government model for less silver. I want another AR but holding off waiting for higher silver prices.

I'd probably stick RA over colt just from the price. Not sure how great prices are around you but I know a great shop in KY that sells online with best prices I've seen if you wanna pm me.

Indian just don't wait to long. Those have been under fire, no pun intended, and might see the prices climb faster than silver.

$625 for the mil-spec. $825 for the RO. I have one dealer that I do all of my business with and I never pay the sticker price on whatever I'm buying. I also make gun stands that he uses for display an sells at shows.

I started dabbling in bullseye over the winter but then schedules changed and I haven't done it in a few months. That's what kind of draws me to the RO.

Maybe for now just get your ammo while you still can and shoot the guns you have, maintain your accuracy with what you already have and you might fall back in love. If I were to get a 1911 I wouldn't cheap out on it. All of those you listed sound like good bets anyways.

(me)^ Not a gun expert.

The RO is nice, I've just never been one for the fancy gun like that especially since the normal 1911 are spot on anyway. Cant go wrong either way

I kind of agree with Libertad though stacking ammo before the prices keep going up may be the better bet. Heck maybe you can just build a few stands and get both lol
